Ever since the superhero parody One-Punch Man mangga was adapted into an anime series in 2015, the world went crazy for it. We were introduced to Saitama, the superhero wannabe who ended up being the strongest person in the world. He can punch his way into literally anything and anyone!

Saitama just wanted to save lives and become one of the elite superheroes. Something that he thought was hard to achieve turned out to be just a walk in the park for him. Though he’s not recognized as the strongest superhero, in reality he is. He can defeat any villain, monsters and even aliens with just one punch. Now how cool is that?

Now let’s ask the million dollar question: Does Saitama have a limit to his powers?

Let’s find out!

Saitama has been matched up with the strongest superhero ever created including Goku, Superman & The Hulk to name a few.

Before we begin, let’s first find out how Saitama gained his unimaginable strength. According to him, he got his powers through the following training regimen:

100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, 10 km run everyday for 3 years. Plus he had no air-conditioning.

Now you’ve got to be kidding us Saitama! Let’s find out if that really works. Let’s take it from JaxBlade, a YouTuber, who actually tested and analyzed this training regimen.

Alright let’s move on.

A comic book character in the mangga named Dr. Genus was not convinced and had to do his own research behind Saitama’s insane power and this is what he had to say:

One Punch Man (2009) Written by: One Illustrated by: Yusuke Murata Published by: Shueisha Volume 2: The Secret To His Strength Tsuyosa no Hiketsu (強さの秘訣)

Though he was defeated by his research, one thing is now clear. Saitama removed his LIMITER.

Now we’re getting somewhere. So what is a limiter? While most people want to be stronger, there’s a certain limit that our body can only handle and every human is made to be that way.

Here’s a cute demonstration we made to better understand what we’re talking about:

You can get stronger all you want, but once you reach a certain level, the muscle growth in your body is totally out of your hands. Poor guy.

So going back to our question, does Saitama have limits to his power? I think we can all agree now that the answer is NO. THERE’S NO LIMIT. Saitama has achieved the un-achievable which is being able to remove his limiter.
